I Am Held
Sometimes you feel like you have to stay strong all the time.
Like you have to keep smiling.
Keep going.
Keep holding everything together.
Even when you feel tired inside.
You might feel like letting go would make everything fall apart.
Like if you stop being strong, something bad might happen.
So you keep going.
You keep standing.
You keep being the one who doesn’t break.
People might even say,
“You’re so strong.”
But inside, you feel heavy.
Quietly heavy.
Sometimes your body feels tight.
Your shoulders feel stiff.
Your breath feels small.
And you don’t know how to rest
without feeling like you’re failing.
But here is something gentle and true.
You were never meant to hold everything by yourself.
Strength was never supposed to come from trying harder.
Or staying brave.
Or never falling apart.
Real strength is quieter than that.
It feels like being held
instead of holding.
It feels like being allowed to soften
without anything going wrong.
You don’t have to show you are strong here.
You don’t have to keep it together.
Nothing is asking more from you.
You are allowed to rest
without losing who you are.
You are allowed to breathe
and let your body relax.
You are not weak for needing support.
You are not failing for feeling tired.
Right now,
I am holding you.
You don’t have to stand alone.
You don’t have to keep everything together.
I am giving you My peace.
I love you, always.
Peace, be still.
