Beloved

You are not an accident of time or circumstance.
You are not unknown.
You are not tolerated.

You are loved.

Before you formed a thought about God,
before you shaped words for Him,
before you learned what faith was supposed to look like,
He knew you.

He knew your frame.
He knew your wiring.
He knew the places you would become guarded, and the places you would grow quiet just to survive.

He knew every one of your days before a single one came to be.

You were seen - fully - and chosen anyway.

There has never been a moment
where you were hidden from Him,
even when you felt hidden from yourself.

There has never been a version of you
that required correction before love could arrive.

You were searched.
You were known.
You were held.

And still are.

Some of you were taught - directly or indirectly - that God relates to you the way people did.

With conditions.
With disappointment.
With distance when you were too much, or not enough.

But that was never Him.

God does not love like fear loves.
He does not withhold like control withholds.
He does not retreat when you are tired.

Love - real love - is patient.
It is kind.
It does not demand performance.
It does not keep score.
It does not require you to become someone else to be welcomed.

Love rejoices in truth - and truth is this

You are already His.

Nothing about your weakness disqualifies you.
Nothing about your questions threatens Him.
Nothing about your weariness surprises Him.

You have never been too broken to belong.

Even now,
He is not asking you to do more, try harder,
or fix what you think is wrong.

He is inviting you to rest
in what has always been true.

That you are not alone.

That you are not exposed.

That you are not living one mistake away from abandonment.

You dwell - not visit - in a place of safety.

Not because life has never hurt you,
but because love has never left you.

You are covered.
You are sheltered.
You are not standing unprotected in the open.

Underneath everything that shook you,
everything that confused you,
everything that caused you to brace

there has always been a refuge.

And here, in this place, nothing is required of you.

You do not need the right words.
You do not need the right beliefs yet.
You do not need to clean yourself up to be close.

Faith was never meant to feel like fear in holy language.

Faith is trust -
and trust grows where love is safe.

Relationship comes before understanding.
Belonging comes before belief.

Love comes first.

Always.

You are not being invited into religion.
You are being welcomed into relationship.

Not with a distant God.
Not with a measuring God.

But with a Father who knows your name your history
your nervous system
and your need for gentleness.

Nothing about you is a disappointment to Him.

Nothing about your story disqualifies you from intimacy.

Nothing about your pace concerns Him.

He is not in a hurry.

And neither are you required to be.

So here - at the end of these pages - there is nothing more to learn.

Nothing more to prove.
Nothing more to hold together.

Only this:

You are loved.
You have always been loved.
And you will never be loved less.

Let your breath soften.

Let your shoulders drop.

Let yourself be known
without explaining.

This is not the end.

It is a resting place.

And you are welcome here.
